Napoletanità e burlesque …istruzioni per l’uso!

Natale è anticiparvi il nostro prossimo progetto teatrale….
Da sempre mi definiscono una “ciaciona”…ma non adesso che porto una bella tg 46/48, ma da sempre, da quando ero ragazzetta e portavo la tg 40. Questo perché, nonostante sia cresciuta in un “quartiere bene” di Napoli e abbia sempre usato l’italiano per conversare sia in famiglia che fuori, evidentemente è sempre stato insito il me il profondo seme di questa meravigliosa terra. Non ho nemmeno una grande inflessione in napoletano, ma pare che nei gesti e nel modo di fare, qualcosa mi accomuna ai miei fantastici conterranei. Qualcuno mi dice che ho un certo modo di muovermi e tutte le espressioni del viso e del corpo (come il largo gesticolare) che determinano una profonda appartenenza alla mia terra.
Dati gli aggettivi adoperati mi sembra quasi superfluo asserire che ne vado molto fiera.
Ad un certo punto però mi sono chiesta: come far conciliare le due cose? Come può sposarsi la napoletanità insita col burlesque?
Partendo dal presupposto che il burlesque è un’arte molto antica, che, girando con il circo per secoli, si è integrata ai vari posti in cui approdava prendendo qualcosa e trasformandola in arte, mi sono convinta che questo “matrimonio” doveva avvenire in qualche modo.
Non dimentichiamoci che all’inizio del ‘900 una certa forma di burlesque in Italia è arrivata soltanto a Napoli attraverso le sciantose del Cafè Chantant…
Così ho cominciato proprio da loro, in particolare studiando i testi e le movenze della grandissima Angela Luce. Da qui l’idea di creare un intero spettacolo di burlesque su musica napoletana. Ho proposto l’idea al mio gruppo ed è piaciuta moltissimo. Così sono partite le ricerche dei pezzi giusti per creare uno spettacolo raffinato, ma completamente immerso nella tradizione napoletana.
Ci abbiamo lavorato per due mesi ed alla fine ne è venuta fuori una scaletta davvero singolare che ci porta a viaggiare nel tempo.
Nel progetto sono stati coinvolti anche due attori/cantanti napoletani di un certo rilievo, che, in alcuni spettacoli, faranno da cornice con dei loro pezzi.
Ne è venuto fuori un progetto enorme, che spero solcherà presto le scene della mia regione e, perché no? anche magari d’Italia. Tutto sommato tutti hanno sempre amato e richiesto gli spettacoli in napoletano.
Per ora come gruppo di Burlesque Art Napoli stiamo lavorando ognuna al proprio pezzo. Il lavoro non è semplice perché in alcuni casi si tratta di interpretare il testo di una canzone (e i pezzi in napoletano hanno una diversità di genere musicale assoluta), altre invece è stato indispensabile (per mantenere la tradizione burlesca), scrivere delle vere e proprie storie nuove da raccontare, che non stonassero con i testi delle canzoni.
Siamo dunque in piena costruzione di costumi, coreografie e storie, prima di procedere alla vera e propria regia dello spettacolo. Prevedo un grande lavoro per i prossimi tre mesi…in definitiva spero di avere lo spettacolo pronto per metà marzo…quello di solo burlesque. Successivamente saranno inseriti i pezzi degli esterni al gruppo in modo da creare una completa armonia e da avere diverse tipologie di spettacolo con la stessa atmosfera di base.
In definitiva per lo spettacolo completo si dovrà attendere fine marzo…ma le cose belle e fatte bene hanno bisogno di tempo e noi vogliamo fare soltanto spettacoli di grande qualità! 😉
Ovviamente si tratta di uno spettacolo di una comicità prorompente, che coinvolgerà il pubblico trasportandolo in un’epoca antica, ma sempre attuale…e non voglio aggiungere altro…se no poi ci copiano!
